wHaT's 4 DiNnEr????

BBBBRRRRrrrrr!!!! It's still cold here and has snowed the last couple of days and it is snowing right now!!!! So I thought I would share a recipe that I like to make that will warm us up and is sooo easy!!!!!!

Taco Soup

1 pound ground beef

2 pkgs. taco seasoning

1 can pinto beans

1 can black beans(rinsed)

1 can tomato sauce

1 can Rotel

1 can whole kernel corn

1 can cream corn

2 pkgs. hidden valley ranch

3 cans water(more/less to desired soupiness)

Put in crock pot.

Top bowl of soup with Doritos, sour cream, cheese or whatever you like on your tacos!!!!!

Ok I have been in a funk lately.....I am going to blame it on Facebook!!!!! That is why I have not been on here....that's my story and I'm stickin' to it!!!!! But my friend Kelley had this on her blog and I thought I would play along....maybe it will get me back to thinking about the blog that I have been neglecting!!!!! So here is the deal....she asks me 5 questions and I answer them....if you want to play along you leave me a comment and your email address and I get to ask you any 5 questions that I choose and then you blog about it.....I think that is it.....if not Kelley please correct me!!!!

1. If you could have any super power what would it be? I would like to be able to see into the future!!!! I say this only because I worry alot and I am kind of a control freak.....only kind of{wink}.....so if I could change somebodies life from making a mistake or from making a bad choice...I would like to be able to do that.....weird I know!!!!!!

2. If someone were to only see a photo of you, how do you think they would describe you? I would like to think they would say I look like a happy person.....look at my family and friends...I am blessed to have great people around me!!!!!!

3. What famous living person would you like to have dinner with? This is pretty easy for me....Oprah.....and that's my final answer!!!!!

4. If you could choose a career for Kale, what would it be? He would be AWESOME at infomercials!!!!! He loves those things and his favorite right now is the Shamwow!!!! He is quite a smooth talker?!?!?!?!?!?!

5. What is your biggest fault? I saved this one for last because it was the easiest for me to answer....and always an eye opener for me!!!!! And I have more than one fault!!!! I am VERY opinionated...{VERY}, I do not forget things people say or do!!!!! First impressions are forever lasting in my mind!!!!!! So I guess you might say I am judgemental and not very forgiving!?!? That sounds very harsh but I do not like drama, I do not like 2 faced people, and I really do not like people who are nice to me and then turn around and stab me in the back!!!!!! I have a very controlling and addictive personality. And my facial expressions will tell you what I am thinking right from the start!!!!!{not always a good thing} So I hope I have not scared you all off.....I am not a horrible person I just know that life is WAAAAYYY to short to worry about all that stuff and to short for alot of drama....so I like to be able to keep it as simple as possible!!!!!!

Are you the next American Idol??????? Are you an Idol fan??????? Oh my gosh.....we are!!!!!!

The girls had a little Idol get together today after school....I forgot to take a picture but they

watched 2 hours of Idol and ate monkey bread......you can't get much better than that!!!!!

Tonite it is on for 2 more hours!!!! I have to be gone.....but we will tivo it...or whatever we have that tapes it!!!!!!

dEeR hUnTiNg.....

The new year was off to an awesome start for Kale and Troy. Troy bought himself a new gun at Christmas time so that he could hunt after Christmas, his plan was to give Kale his old gun. I went to Kansas City on New
Year's Day to visit my friend Steph. So Kale and Troy took that as "guys day" and set out to go hunt.....Kale talked Troy into getting him a tag so that he could actually shoot and not just set and watch....must have been a pretty east talk!!!!!

I am just retelling the story so i do not have every last detail...sorry!!!! As the story goes....they see 2 deer so Kale shoots at the first one and after the smoke clears....he missed...so as they hurry and TRY to be quiet they reload the gun and decide he is going to try for the other one as it was still standing there wondering what had just happened!!!!! So he shoots and as the smoke clears again.....they don't see anything so they wait a bit and go out to look and find just a few little drops of blood....so were not expecting to find anything.....with the tiny little flashlight Kale had brought. but as they walked into the timber a little bit......they found him....yes a buck......only a little button buck but not the less.....a buck!!!! This was Kale's very first deer EVER!!!!!! When Kale called me I could not tell who was more excited....him or Troy!!!!! So Kale is the only one who has shot anything with Troy's new gun. AWESOME job Kale......Happy New Year to you!!!!!

But they do play today in the

Outback Bowl

and my family does cheer only for the Hawks
