Sorry to leave you hangin' on the track meet!!!!!

Just want to say thanks to all of you who stopped by to wish the girls good luck at the regional track meet!!!!!

I will get right to the point here......

Taylor got 2nd in the 2 mile.......GREAT job Taylor!!!!!

But did not make it to the state track meet. {there is always next year}

Delaney got 1st in the mile!!!!!!!!

Soooooo she will be making a trip to the state track meet!!!!!!

AWESOME JOB DELANEY!!!!!!!!!

Just want to take a second to let them both know how proud we are of both of them!!!

And how much fun we have watching both of them run!!!!!!!

BBBRRRrrrrrrrr........it's cold outside and we are getting ready to go watch the girls run at their REGIONAL track meet.

Regionals qualify you to go to the state track meet.

The winner out of every regional goes to state and then the next 12 fastest times in the state get to go too.

They were suppose to run yesterday but it got postponed because of rain.

It's not raining today but it is only in the 40's right now....with a high of 61 and very windy!!!!!

Delaney is running in the mile {1500m} and she he the 8th best time in the STATE in our class {1A} and she will be running an 800 in a relay.

Taylor will be running in the 2 mile{3000m}, the mile {1500m}.

She is really going to have to run her little behind off today......but I know she can do it!!!!!

Soooooooo GOOD LUCK today!!!!!!!!!

Tulips, Tulips, Tulips.........

This one is my favorite........I think because it is purple!!!!!!

And I love this picture.....not sure why but I really like it!!!!!!

Oh my gosh.........you guys I have so much going on right now that I want to blog about but just have not had the time to get on here to blog.

So with that being said....I am going to make several post about my random thoughts.

They probably will NOT be in order of how they have happened in our life.

But I will probably have to go from current to past......my mind does not work so well all of the time!!!!!

So last weekend was Tulip Time in Pella, Iowa.......a HUGE celebration....with tulips.....duh!!!!

I do not know the details of how the celebration was started............

 BUT.......the tulips are AWESOME!!!!!!!

BUT......we as a family are not fans of a HUGE crowd......and the tulips bring a GINORMOUS crowd!!!!!!

So we waited until Sunday{mother's day} to take the kids over and check out the tulips.......{you know just what 3 teens love doing!!!}

No.......really our kids are good sports about whatever it is that we drag them to......thanks kiddos......I really enjoyed spending the day with you!!!!!

Troy took pictures of the tulips and I think they are AWESOME......so I just wanted to share a few pictures with you.
