WiLLy wOnKa....

I need your help!!!!!!
We are on the After~Prom committee this year.....
because we have a junior{Taylor} at the high school.
And the parents{of the junior class} do the decorating for the walk in and put on an
After~Prom party for the kids who go to prom.
{trying to keep the kids drug free and alcohol free}
The junior class comes up with the theme.....
and we have to go with that!!!!!!
This year they chose........
Willy Wonka........
Sooooooo this is where you all come into play........
we need some creative ideas to decorate for the walk in.....
as inexpensive as possible....
maybe recycling of items!?!?!?!?
We have used toilet paper rolls to make little candies and wrapped them in colorful papers
and bought a bunch of stuff after Christmas in the clearance isle.
But if any of you come up with ANY ideas.....please leave me a comment or send me an email.

I hope to hear from all of you creative ladies!!!!!

let's see...line the walkway with giant lollipops...wrapped in bright cellophane, use large dowels and styrofoam, have bubble machines running...like the bubbles in the soda room, have a chocolate fountain and fruit...i'm tapped out...
have fun!

Lori beat me to the punch. I was going to recommend the chocolate fountain and we've made those styrofoam lolly pops (they're easy). What a fun theme!!

This really is a fantastic theme. Might be worth renting the (original) movie and seeing what other fun ideas you can come up with.

okay.. during Christmas at this crazy christmas house there were these giant lollipops make from a piece of pvc pipe. They had ribbon rapped around them to make a stripe. Then they had a round piece of styraphome (spelling, Yikes) wrapped in that clear easter basket colored wrap. They were great and cheap.

Mmmm....love ideas the other ladies have. If theres a way to create them to pick off the candies like in the movie on their way in that might be fun.

Think Think Rambler.....only one so far.

Have one of the dads dress up as Willy Wonka and greet them at the beginning?

Thanks so much for visiting me on my SITS day :)

Rambler beat me to it.....I like the idea of Willy Wonka himself greeting them.

Sounds fun. At my girls high school it is a senior only prom. But anyway, bubbles, giant candy, maybe they could walk on the 'chocolate' river.

Do you get to give out a prize? I know local businesses like to donate stuff. How about a winning golden ticket? I'll keep racking my brain...

Bubble machine maybe. It's a great theme for party.
