fRiDaY.....

Friday was a big day at our house we had alot going on......varsity basketball, Troy and Kale leaving for the opening day of deer season in Iowa and the guys were going to be gone so I called my friend Steph to see if she wanted to come up and hang out with me and the girls this weekend....and she said.....sure. So the plan was that we all go to the basketball game then Troy and Kale leave after the game to do their guy stuff and us girls were going to hang out all weekend!!!!!!(AWESOME plan!!!) But the plans all changed at about 8:30am!!!!! The school nurse called and said Kale was sick. So off to the school I go to pick him up. As soon as we got home I called Steph to let her know about Kale just in case she did not want to be around the crud!!!! No problem she says....I'll be there!!! Poor Kale.....as the day went by he got a little sicker!!!!(is that a word????) When Troy got home we were talking about Kale and what our plan would be for him to try to go on Saturday....I thought he was sleeping......but from under the blankets I hear a muffled "oh I am going" but we thought it was best he stay home tonite and see how he felt on Saturday....he didn't like it but that was the only plan I gave him!!!!!

So Steph and I stayed home with Kale and did not get to go to the game......and wouldn't you know it.......Taylor was leading scorer with 16 points!!!!!! I was so disappointed I did not get to see it!!!!!! Great job Taylor!!!!!! As for the team.....we lost......by 19 points.......not a good nite!!!!!

How about.........Fort McWood??????? For some reason that cracked Troy up!!!!! From time to time Troy will tell Kale (if they are talking about a name or whatever guys talk about)......"that is what they used to call me back in high school!!!!!" So this time was no different......when Kale told us that he named his "fort"....."Fort McWood".....Troy says......."that's what they used to call me in high school"......my friend Steph was here and I thought she was going to pee her pants laughing at that one!!!!!! But to the rest of us......that is just another day in our crazee life!!!!!!

I am thinking about ya!!!!!

Please be thinking of my good friend Steph....as her grandmother will be having surgery on Monday morning.....take care Steph.....I will be thinking about you on Monday!!!!! Please call if you need anything at all!!!!! And....I just want to pass on a quick note.....please keep my new bloggin' buddy......hip mom in your thoughts and prayers on Thursday as she will be going in for surgery that day!!!!! We will all be thinking of you hip mom.......hang in there!!!!!!

I am not sure how many of you like to make goodies at Christmas time......but here is a really cool place to get a ton of recipes for cookies, candies, cakes, and just about anything else you may want to eat at Christmas time!!!!!! My friend Steph sent it to me in an email and I just have to share it with all of you!!!!!

Ok I have been tagged by Melissa at http://www.carefulwisher.blogspot.com/!!!!!! I am suppose to share 7 weird facts about myself....not sure if i have 7 weird things about me!!!!! HAHAHA!!! I crack myself up!!!!!(i know that is one WEIRD thing about myself....because that really was not funny!!) So here it goes......I had my family help me and it sure did not take them long to come up with more than 7 weird things about me!!!!!!


Weird Facts:

1. I burnt my eyeball one time while curling my hair.....right before getting ready to go see REBA in concert......I do not think my husband was to happy!!! But I got to wear a pirate patch home from the hospital.....how cool is that!!!!! yes you are right.....WEIRD!!!


2. I like the TP to go over the top NOT under.....my husband likes it under.....maybe he does it just to make me CRAZEE!!!!!!


3. When I sneeze....I never sneeze once....always at least 3 times if not more....WEIRD....but what I think is even more WEIRD is that my family counts and knows how many times I sneeze....REALLY WEIRD!!!!!


4. My sister thinks this is WEIRD.....I find it to be perfectly normal......I put deodorant on before I go to bed!!!!! You never know!!!!


5. The smell of tuna or even the thought of tuna makes me GAG!!!!! So if anybody in my house wants tuna they have to eat it AND have the smell out of the house before I get home!!!!


6. I pulled all my eyelashes out on one eye one time while trying to curl them with that little eyelash curler......now I looked really WEIRD!!!!!!


7. I have a really addictive personality.......if I get "hooked" on something.......WOW I am really obsessed.....it's kind of WEIRD!!!!!
