Ok I have a question.........

When left a comment on your blog do you respond to each comment with an e~mail, leave another comment, or do you just visit each persons blog and leave them a comment too????

OR do nothing at all?????

I am not asking to be weird......

I am asking because I am not sure what to do.

I try to go visit those blogs......

but some people e~mail me if I leave them a comment.....and I like that too!!!!!

Just checking to see what all of you think!?!??!?!?!

On Tuesday nite we had our Melcher-Dallas Invitational track meet.

And Delaney set a meet record in the 1500 meter run(almost a mile).

With a time of 5:27.20

THEN..........

Last nite at the girls' track meet Delaney broke the school record in the mile.

(1500 meter run)

And guess whose record she broke!??!?!?!?!

If you guessed TAYLOR.......you are right!!!!!!

Taylor had the mile record with a time of 5:23.02

And Delaney broke it with a 5:21.97

WOW.....look how much time she knocked of from Tuesday to Thursday!!!!!!

AWESOME job ladies!!!!!!

We are soooo proud of both of you for your accomplishments in track!!!!!!

{and everything you do for that matter!!!}

Good luck at you next meet.

And I will keep you all posted if we have any more broken records!!!!!!

It looks like after yesterday spring is on it's way!!!!!!!

And I am going to welcome it with open arms!!!!

{All you 80's girls did a song pop into your head???}

It did mine!!!

It was almost 75 degrees yesterday and look what started popping out!!!!!

Please tell me that this is a sign that spring is on it's way!!!!!

And the last picture was a very quick reminder that we will need to mow the grass VERY soon!!

pRoM 09......

Here are a few pictures from prom last nite.

As stressful as it was....all went well!!!!

We had to have the walk~in inside because of rain but everything worked out!!!

After prom was fun....the hypnotist was funny!!!!

Taylor went up on stage and got hypnotised......FUN!!!!!!

We finally got everything cleanup and put away and on our way home at 5:30 am..this morning!!!

WOW......I am tired now but when I got home it took me about a half an hour before I relaxed and went to sleep.......so when my alarm clock went off at 6:30am......needless to say I did NOT want to get out of bed!!!!!! 

But I got up washed my face {that did not wake me up!!}

brushed my teeth {that did not wake me up!!!}

so woke Troy up and we both decided we were going to skip softball this morning and had Taylor ride to softball with a friend......and we went back to bed!!!!! {we are getting way to old for those kind of late nite parties!!!!}

But we had fun being involved in the after~prom this year and hope all the kids enjoyed it all!!!

Well today is the day.......PROM!!!!!!

And guess what......it's RAINING!!!!!!

Just got home from getting Taylor's hair done....she looks BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!

Sooooooo grown up!!!!!

Oh my gosh.....how does that happen....right before our eyes!?!?!?!?!?

Now Troy and I are off to finish up our part in the decorating.

And we have our fingers crossed that it will stop raining!!!!!!

I will get pictures on here as soon as I get an extra minute!!!!!

Oh my......can I be tired ALREADY????????

It may be a long nite if I don't get some extra energy soon!!!!!

I am sure my super~mom powers will kick in any time now!!!!!

Just want to thank ALL of you for your AWESOME prom ideas and all of the very nice compliments on how cute Taylor looks in her prom dress and the ideas for shoe color and jewelry ideas!!!!!!

This weekend is the big weekend.......Saturday nite at 7:30 is when the walk~in starts.......so I will try to get pictures posted next week as soon as I can......I would like to say I will do it on Sunday but we will be up all nite at the after~prom party helping out......we are having a hypnotist at 2 a.m......I am sooooo looking forward to that.....it should be funny!!!!!!

Then home by 5:30 or 6:00 a.m. on Sunday{I hope!!!} and back up and on our way for a day of spring softball.......2 games the first one starts at 9 a.m........{that should be a great game....cough, cough}........then hope to be able to come home and SLEEP!!!!!!

That is my plan anyway.......I hope it works out that way!!!!!!

My mom is having knee replacement surgery AGAIN!!!!!

Hey all you Chicago Cubs fans......not sure how many there are.......

but today was opening day and the cubs won!!!!!!! {4-2} I believe.

{my husband would not be proud of that}....{the I believe part}

I'm am sure he thinks I should just know these things....haha!!!!

So it is always a good day at our house when the cubs win!!!!!!

WeEkEnD....

Ok...so here it is Saturday nite and we are at home and in for the nite by 7 p.m.

now that is one exciting life!!!!!!!

No really it is not....but it was an AWESOME day outside today in the 70's....windy but warm!!!

But this is Iowa......stick around that will change!!!!!

It is suppose to get cold and snow late tonite and tomorrow!!!!!!!!

I think I forgot to give you the update about Kale's wrestling last weekend......he lost 2 matches

on Saturday so he did not make it into the top 8 so did not get to wrestle on Sunday.

He was very disappointed.....but as a 12 year old we live in that moment and that was all that was important at that point in his life!!!!!! But nothing a little mac&cheese from Macaroni Grill wouldn't cure!!!! But we were very proud of him......this was his first year of wrestling and he made it to state.....not bad if you ask me!!!!!!

Off to play spring softball in the morning{at 9 a.m.} if it doesn't snow and rain tonite!!!!!

Went to the high school tonite to watch our high school dance teams spring show

as their fundraiser they have a clinic for the elementary kids......those little ones are so darn cute to watch!!!!!!!

Well that is our excitement so far this weekend....hope you all are having a great weekend!!!!!
